- This year's NSRFC Seriously Strong Invitational 7's will take place on Saturday 15th May 2010 at Bladnoch Park,
where teams will be playing for the Bladnoch Whiskey Quaich and a £500 prize chest! Also on the day there will be a
ladies netball tournament, junior rugby, bar and live music and loads more.
13/04/10 - NSRFC will
be taking the Mini and Junior sections up to the Firhill Arena to watch Glasgow Warriors play Leinster in their last home
game of the Magners League. It will be a 8pm k.o with a bus leaving from the square in Newton Stewart at 5pm..please
get there early!
22/03/10 - There will be a UKCC Level 1 course at Dumfries Rugby Club on the 11th, 12th
and 13th of June. Anyone wishing to take part should visit www.scottishrugby.org and go to the 'Coaching' section.
10/03/10 - Newton Stewart Mini's will be travelling
down to the Dumfries tournament on Sunday 21st March. Travelling arrangements will be sorted out nearer the time
but please contact Graham Morton on 07880700478 if you require more information.
26/01/10 - The
next deadline for ordering kit is the 28th of February. Please see the 'Club Shop' section for more details.
31/12/09 - Newton Stewart 1st and 2nd XV will be travelling away to Wigtownshire on the 3rd of January to defend the Spice
Cup. The club are looking for as many supporters as possible to travel down and cheer the boys on. The shire have never won
the cup before and that's how it should remain!
14/12/09 - Mini training will be stopping for a short break
until Sunday 7th of February. This is due to the majority of clubs moving their season into the summer months for 'better
weather rugby'.
01/12/09 - Senoir training on a Tuesday night will now be held at the MUGA in Creetown for
the next 10 weeks as of 01/12/09. It will run from 8.00 to 9.30 pm.
02/11/09 - Could all players and supporters
please be aware that Saturday fixtures will now start with a 2pm k.o time instead of 3pm.
22/10/09 - There
are a number of courses due to be held at the club over the coming months. Please visit the 'Club Forum' page for
more information.
06/10/09 - Newton Stewart 1st XV and 2nd XV will both be playing away at Cambuslang on the 17th
of October. For any supporters wishing to go, there will be a bus leaving from the square in Newton Stewart at 10.45 am.
24/09/09 - The first Dumfries and Galloway girls training session will take place on Monday 28th of September at Stewartry

22/09/09 - The
club are currently looking for volunteers to help out with coaching. We are looking for anyone who would like to help out
on a Thursday night from 6pm-7pm or on Sundays. Volunteer coaches are required for the U16's, U14's and the Mini-section.
It doesn't matter if you have not done any coaching before, and the club can put you through coaching courses if you wish.

for winning the Moffat 10's tournament at the weekend..a great start to the season!
14/08/09 - Just to let you all know that the new 1st XV playing
kit has arrived, and it will get its first outing when Newton Stewart take on Strabane on Friday August the 21st over in Ireland.

29/07/09 – Finlay Calder will be at the club Marquee
from 12 noon at the Wigtown Show. Champagne, canapés and cake will be served between 12.30 and 1.30 pm, once Finlay
Calder has said a few words and cut the cake. Please come along and show your support for the club!
10/07/09 - The
club will be having a stall at this years Wigtown Show. It is being held on the 5th of August at Bladnoch Park,
where we will be having a 'silver' anniversary theme to celebrate 25 years of the club. We are also
hoping that the new kit will be officially unveiled on the day!!
